Statement of Gratitude – A Note from Amanda
I’m Amanda, and I founded this site, GoMarket, which could not possibly exist without the collaborations, interactions, sharings and teachings of the many, many wonderful people whose paths I have encountered. If my path has ever crossed yours, or your path has ever crossed mine, this is my personal statement of gratitude to you. You are my bridge.

About GoMarket
GoMarket, founded in 2009, aims to be a Real-World Marketing Mentor, bridging the gap between the strategy and theory learned in the classroom to the real-world tactics needed on the job. It’s our goal to empower you through your internships and first few years on the job – armed with Marketing Program tactics, tools and services in your tool belt, and confidence and enthusiasm in your character.

About Amanda – With over 15 years experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Sales and Finance, my experience covers both B2B and B2C segments in high-tech industries such as hardware, software, retail, and services. Working in both scrappy start-ups and in solid Fortune 50 companies, much of my knowledge is learned on the job. More often than not, my Marketing Program objectives include “doing more with less,” the driving force behind my early adoption of technology and my vast appreciation of rockstar intern talent. Over the many years, I’ve started many Marketing intern programs and have mentored many more interns.
GoMarket is a free service, my way of giving back what I have learned to my community, and my way of empowering the next generation of Marketers. Some might say that I’m building a succession plan.

Caroline Lim
About Caroline – With limited internship possibilities while pursing my marketing degree, I followed my intuition and strayed away from the “Corporate America” path. Fortunately, I was offered a stellar internship at an ambitious start-up company that opened many doors to my success. Since then, I have parlayed my valuable experience into one start-up after another, currently working on my third. My experience is focused around internet marketing with a concentration in marketing communications. I have a passion for start-ups and believe in learning through hands-on experience, growing from failures, and receiving guidance from peers.
GoMarket is a way for me to reach out to you; the ambitious, energetic marketer who seeks new opportunities to gain knowledge. My goal is to provide a service that not only gives you the confidence to be a great marketer, but most importantly, acts as your “real-world marketing mentor.”
If there is one thing we want you to remember, it’s: “You can do this. Now, Go Market.”

GoMarket operates on a donation basis. We will never charge our readers, period. We’re not sure how or if GoMarket will make money, but we guarantee it will not be by charging you to participate. Under FTC rules, we will note if any of our recommended service providers pay us, which at this time, they are not. We don’t intend to get into the “sponsored post” game. We aim to be transparent, open and direct.
